PGF Position Power Rankings: Wide Receivers
Updated June 29, 2008

Throughout the course of the year, we will be updating the rankings every week depending on training camp,
pre-season, regular season, injuries, and news.  Only the Top 25 will be displayed.

       1) Randy Moss, Patriots                    2) Terrell Owens, Cowboys                    3) Chad Johnson, Bengals

4) Reggie Wayne,
Colts
Has taken the reigns from Harrison as Manning's go to guy.
5) Torry Holt, Rams
Despite playing in the 5th worst scoring offense in the league, Holt still put up Pro Bowl numbers.
6) Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals
Tied career highs in receiving yards (1409) and touchdowns (10), but made a new career high in yards per game (93.9)
7) Steve Smith, Panthers
With Delhomme back, Smith's numbers should see a significant increase.
8) T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Bengals
Set career highs in receptions, yards, and touchdowns.
9) Marques Colston, Saints
No sophomore slump for Colston. He is definitely a big time NFL receiver
10) Braylon Edwards, Browns
2007's breakout year finally showed why he was the 3rd overall pick in the 2005 Draft.
11) Anquan Boldin, Cardinals
Should be able to bounce back from injuries and climb the power ranking charts.
12) HInes Ward, Steelers
The most important person on the Steelers offense.
13) Wes Welker, Patriots
Tied NFL league lead with 112 receptions and makes a good complement to Randy Moss
14) Plaxico Burress, Giants
Never had a season with 80 or more catches, but this could be the year.
15) Marvin Harrison, Colts
Will Harrison be able to regain his form?
16) Donald Driver, Packers
Is definitely the Packers most important receiver, but will he be able to find the end zone more than once this year?
17) Derrick Mason, Ravens
60 out of Mason's 103 receptions went for first downs.
18) Roy Williams, Lions
After a terrible end to his 2007 campaign, Williams looks to bounce back to 2006 form.
19) Andre Johnson, Texans
Was on pace for 120 receptions before his injury.
20) Chris Chambers, Chargers
A full training camp with the Chargers should make Chambers even better in this offense.
21) Bernard Berrian, Vikings
Berrian, along with Adrian Peterson, should be able to take a lot of pressure off of Tavaris Jackson
22) Brandon Marshall, Broncos
Went from 20 receptions in 2006 to 102 in 2007.  Must stay away from off the field issues.
23) Joey Galloway, Buccaneers
Numbers have decreased each of the last 2 seasons.
24) Bobby Engram, Seahawks
Can he be Seattle's full time #2 target?
25) Greg Jennings, Packers
Developing into one of the best deep threats in the NFL.

On the outside looking in: Calvin Johnson- Lions, Santana Moss- Redskins, Kevin Curtis- Eagles, Dwayne Bowe- Chiefs,
Santonio Holmes- Steelers, Roddy White- Falcons, Donte' Stallworth- Browns, Jerricho Cotchery- Jets

2007 put Moss back on the map and
on top of PGF's Wide Receivers
Power Rankings.
Owens is the key to the Cowboys
offense.
Looks like Johnson is still in Cincy and
Bengals fans should be happy.
