Washington Post Reports: Washington Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell has what the team described as a minor hamstring injury.
"He just felt it grab, it didn't pull all the way," Coach Jim Zorn said yesterday after the last of the team's three organized team activities this week at Redskins Park. "He was feeling his hamstrings all along, and I think it's because I have him" bending his knees more to stay at one level while dropping back

Washington Post Reports: Wide receiver Antwaan Randle El underwent arthroscopic knee surgery yesterday and is expected to return for the Washington Redskins' second session of organized team activities that start in June, according to Coach Jim Zorn. Randle El, who missed the first organized team activity of the offseason Monday because of his right knee, had what Zorn described as a "fairly minor" procedure to remove floating cartilage. If there are no complications, Randle El should be fully recovered in a few weeks, Zorn said.

Rookie TE Davis Missing at Camp Posted by Jay Miles May 4, 2008

The Washington Times Reports: Second-round draft pick Fred Davis didn't report for the last day of minicamp. The Redskins eventually located the tight end from USC and said he's safe but didn't release any other information at this point.
"He didn't show up to meeting this morning so we started looking for him," coach Jim Zorn said. "There was one of two scenarios. Either there was som real trouble and we needed to find him or he screwed up. I haven't even got to talk to him yet. I know he has been found. I believe it is more in the 'I screwed up' category. I just want to talk to him and make sure he and I are both on the same page. I don't know if he was sick. I don't know if he was out. I don't know what the deal was. It has to be mortifying to him to know he missed practice.

Zorn Likes What He Sees In Thomas Posted by Jay Miles May 2, 2008

MLive.com Reports: Here's what new Redskins head coach Jim Zorn had to say about:
-- Thomas still being there at 34th...
"I think that was the biggest surprise for us. We were thinking, 'Okay, well we are giving that up to go down and get more choices in the second round,' and then when he was there even in the second round, we got excited about that."
-- What the Redskins like about Thomas...
"His speed, his size. I like the fact that he can run after he catches the ball. He averaged 29.1 yards per kickoff return. He had 79 catches in 2007. He is a young player with a lot of upside. He doesn't have injury problems coming out of college. With Devin it is going to be how well he can pick up the offense, a whole different language, but his athleticism is right there and we just need to develop him."
-- On whether the Redskins are nervous that Thomas has basically had one year to develop...
"I'm not, because guys develop at different times in their lives and I think that is what happened. Probably in spring ball last year, they saw who they really had. He started really coming on in spring ball and they started throwing him the ball and he came through for them in 2007. That is the kind of athlete he was and some guys develop a little bit later than others.
