2008 Target Players: AFC West

Every year, there is always that one player that each team, fans, and media are waiting to "break out".  PGF's Jay Miles examines a
player for each team he believes that everyone is waiting on in our 2008 Target Players.
Boss Bailey, LB Broncos
This is his first year in Denver, but Boss has
never had that breakout year in Detroit.  He
only had one year over 80 tackles, and his
career high in sacks are 3.5.  He has all the
skills to succeed and hopefully playing with
big brother Champ can get him started.
Brodie Croyle, QB Chiefs
Chiefs showed Croyle this past draft that
they still have faith in him by not drafting a
QB.  Kansas City coaching staff thinks he
can play in this league and this year may be
his last shot.
Michael Huff, S Raiders
In two years in the league, he has only managed
one interception.  Since being drafted in the 1st
round (7th overall), Huff has shown flashes, but
still has not put together that complete season.
Now with DeAngelo Hall and Gibril Wilson added
in the secondary, some of the pressure should be
off of his shoulders.
Vincent Jackson, WR Chargers
In 2007, he finally got his chance to start and
everyone was saying this is his year.  He got off
to a quick start Weeks 1-5, but then faded the
rest of the year which lead the team to trade for
Chris Chambers.  In 2006, he had six
touchdowns as backup and last year as a starter
he had only three.  Jackson needs to improve on
his route running to get to the next level.
